FALL 2020 ISSUE THEME
“TAKE MY ADVICE”
Whether it's a curtly given "suggestion" from a stranger, wisdom passed down from a community elder, or the advice that you yourself give, everyone has something to share. Words given as wisdom have the power to either tear apart or unite. They can assist in forming generations of prejudice, or be instrumental in tearing those walls down, moving to erase years of bigotry.
This issue's theme asks artists to analyze and interpret the relationship they have with advice. How does the advice you've been given throughout your life inform the advice you will pass on to others? Moreover, how can you present this in a way that encourages the education, community, and growth we all aspire towards?
